Understanding your tariffs
WEB Aruba currently has three rates for drinking water: residential, commercial, and rates for farmers, horticulture & husbandries. Your bill is calculated by multiplying the rate by your monthly consumption.
Consumption is measured by comparing the meter reading of this month with that of the month before.
For example: Monthly consumption of a residential client of 15 m3 would be calculated as follows:
Price brackets | Usage x tariff (Awg.) | Costs (Awg.) |
---|---|---|
0 – 3 m3 | 3 x 5.75 | 17.25 |
4 – 6 m3 | 3 x 5.75 | 17.25 |
7 – 12 m3 | 6 x 7.90 | 47.40 |
13 -20 m3 | 3 x 14.20 | 42.60 |
Total 15m3: | 124.50 |
