The waiting time for a new meter depends on the situation at the property. Each situation is unique.
Below are various situations and approximately how long it takes for the meter to be connected:

The existing pipeline runs directly in front of the property and there is already a connection for a meter: 2 or 3 days.

The existing pipeline runs in front of the property but there is no connection for the meter: 1 week.

The existing pipeline runs across the street from the property or is located on a neighboring property: 2 to 3 weeks.
