Understanding your tariffs
WEB Aruba currently has two rates for drinking water, residential and non-residential rates. Your bill is calculated by multiplying the rate by your monthly consumption.
Consumption is measured by comparing the meter reading of this month with that of the month before.
Residential clients
WEB’s Residential tariffs are based on a progressive price-scale. As consumption increases the price goes up.
For example: Monthly consumption of 15 m3 would be calculated as follows:
Price brackets | Usage times tarrif (Awg) | Costs (Awg) |
---|---|---|
0 – 3 m3 | 3 x 4.55 | 13.65 |
4 – 6 m3 | 3 x 4.55 | 13.65 |
7 – 12 m3 | 6 x 6.25 | 37.50 |
13 -15 m3 | 3 x 11.25 | 33.75 |
Total: | 98.55 |
